Year: about 1968
A very rare and difficult to find Zenith chronograph. It dates to the
late 1960s.
Its a large and substantial watch, striking looking, clean in
appearance with sweeping lines. The case shape, which is TV screen shape
with small fat lugs was popularized by Heuer with the Monaco and Camaro
models.
It has beautiful dial colors, with the main dial being polished silver
and the internal rotating bezel and sub dials in polished dark silver
almost grey in color.
The hands are fluorenscent orange with luminous fill and the primary
numbers on the bezel
are the same color as the hands. The numbers on the sub dials are
likewise in orange.
The watch is hand wound and all buttons and the winding crown are
original.
Condition:
- all functions work perfectly and it keeps accurate time
- case shows signs of wear one ding between 7 and 8
- dial shows some aging
- luminous dot in the central sweep hand is missing
Watch comes with original Zenith steel bracelet, fits to a 20cm wrist
