Longines Lindbergh Vintage Hour Angle, 1940, historical military watch

1940 – Rare Longines Lindbergh Hour Angle Watch with original dial, rotating bezel and Longines Swiss Made 10L manual wind movement. Triple signed Longines on the dial, case and movement. The Lindbergh Hour Angle watch was designed by Col. Charles A. Lindbergh in collaboration with Philip Van Horn Weems as a navigational aid for pilots.

Dial: Silver dial with printed black Roman numeral hour-markers, hour-angle subdial, minutes outer ring
Hands: Blued Feuille hands
Case: 10kt Gold Filled case, with bi-directional turning reeded bezel, crowns, and snap-on caseback, case No. 9066980, diameter 33mm
Strap: Green Nato

Condition:

Very good age-related condition with minor traces of wear, case nice as well, dial is in excellent age-related condition
