HEUER AUTAVIA 7863 Vintage Chronograph

 This Heuer Autavia "30 Dato" reference 7863 is the first Autavia with a date function,
The case is beefed up to 40mm from a 38mm case in the earlier Autavia models. An other major difference: In 1968 Heuer adopted a snap-back compressor case, in which the caseback was actually controlled by the surrounding water pressure.

 Condition:

Overall, the watch is in very good condition. The dial is clean, original tritium has aged to a yellow.
The watch is in running condition and the chronograph is starting, stopping, and resetting correctly.
